Q: When is Quality Talks?

A: Quality Talks is May 3 (Wednesday) from 10am to 5pm ET.

Q: How can I attend Quality Talks 2023?

A: Quality Talks is a hybrid event. You have the option to attend online or in person in Washington, DC. See the registration page for details on these options.

Currently, NCQA intends to hold Quality Talks 2023 in person, with a remote attendance option.

Q: I’m registered but my plans have changed and I can’t attend on May 3. What can I do?

Your registration includes access to the recording until August 3 if you cannot join us live. Alternatively, you can transfer your registration to a colleague before May 3 by contacting us at qualitytalks@ncqa.org.

Q: Can I cancel my registration and get a refund?

A: Attendees who cancel will incur a $150 cancellation fee for all cancellations prior to April 3, 2023.  Registration fee is not refundable. Your registration includes access to the livestream and the recording post-event. Alternatively, you can transfer your registration to a colleague before May 3 by contacting us at qualitytalks@ncqa.org.

Q: Do I get any education credits from attending Quality Talks?

A: PCMH Certified Content Experts (CCEs) who register for and attend Quality Talks receive 4 elective points towards maintenance of certification (MOC). CCEs must register for Quality Talks using the email address associated with their CEC Candidate ID number. Credits will automatically post in My CEC within two weeks of the event.

Attending In Person

Q: What are the requirements to attend Quality Talks in person?

NCQA is committed to following prevailing public health guidance related to COVID-19 including but not limited to following current United States Centers for Disease Control guidance as well as local Washington, DC guidance for large gatherings.

By registering to attend Quality Talks, you attest and agree as follows:

  • You are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 which means:

(i) two weeks will have passed prior to attending the conference since you received a primary series 1 of COVID-19 vaccines that have been approved by either the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or Department of Health (currently, Pfizer, Moderna or Johnson & Johnson/Janssen); and

(ii) you have received at least one booster dose if eligible

  • You will not attend in person if you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms at the time of the conference
  • Attendees are encouraged to test prior to attending
  • Masks are optional and at the discretion of each attendee

NCQA recommends that all attendees traveling to Washington, DC comply with current travel guidelines as issued by the CDC. NCQA may adjust guidelines for attending relating to COVID-19 as needed.

Q: Where will Quality Talks be held?

Quality Talks 2023 will be held in the new event space at the Capital Hilton in downtown DC.

Q: What is the Capital Hilton dress code for the event?

We suggest business casual. Event space can sometimes be cold so we recommend a sweater or light jacket.

Attending Online

Q: I want to attend Quality Talks online with my colleagues, can I share my registration/access with them?

A: Each individual registration to attend online allows a single access to the livestream. To attend Quality Talks online with your colleagues, consider the following:

Enterprise Basic: up to 10 individual registrations in your organization

Enterprise Premium: up to 20 individual registrations in your organization

Q: Do I need to have the names and contact info of my colleagues when I register for Enterprise Basic or Enterprise Premium?

A: No, once your registration of Enterprise Basic or Enterprise Premium is confirmed, we will send you a voucher code that you can share with your colleagues. With the code, they will be register individually at no additional cost.

Q: Do I need to install any software to attend online?

A: No, all you need is a registration and a current web browser.
